AALAS Governance
AALAS is a nonprofit organization with a narrowly focused mission – identify and support global best practices for Flipped Learning and related active learning instruction.
AALAS is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of the founding leadership team and appointed individuals uniquely positioned to help guide and lead the organization’s mission of establishing the highest standards in active learning. The board is primarily responsible for the administration of the organization and regulatory compliance. Program chairs lead the academic activities of the organization and vote on issues related to setting standards, updating standards, and recognizing people and institutions who meet or exceed the adopted standards.
